What is the beach?

Is it New Jersey?

Is it Maryland?

Muir Beach or Santa Cruz?

Regardless, some may see it under the lights of sunrise. Others, the lights of sunset. Both provide an infinite amount of saltwater leading into the horizon as well as a spectrum of light so riveting to capture the attention of artists that depict it through various materials.

I chose to do so by layering cone 6 glazes in an electric kiln.
