A work in progress: As an artist, I am constantly seeking new ways to approach a project. I had an old canvas lying around with a pattern and design that I truly enjoyed. I did not want to completely change the piece, so I decided to use the design as a background to create this royal painting with Craig the Dog as my subject. This little guy has recently come into my life and I was so excited to depict him with one of my favorite mediums.
